In 2006 the St. Mary Maternity Center was relocated from a busy crossroads to a close but quieter location on Days Mountain. Newly built it is nicknamed the Tiki House. The lower level is the maternity clinic room, and uptairs is a large open living quarters. Currently there is a shortage of midwives in Jamaica so when I'm not there the Tiki house is available as a vacation destination, complete with a chef and chauffeur if needed.
